If you're well off and your guts hurt when you eat pizza, there's a higher chance that you will be diagnosed with celiac disease than if you're poor and in the exact same situation. This from a study out of Boston's Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. An examination of 800 cases of patients with celiac disease found that income was correlated to an accurate diagnosis when it comes to less common symptoms of celiac.
