ABC News published a depressing article the other day that includes some new airline fees we may see this year. The head of made some reasonable predictions about the ways that airlines may raise extra cash. Remember the time when you weren't charged to check in a bag, and when airlines didn't offer a free checked bag as a privilege of membership to their Visa or MasterCard? The loss of such extravagances as having one's luggage come aboard as part of the airfare is par for the course, it turns out.
